I sell Haunted
Houses. At least some say that they are. Let
me introduce myself to you. I am Realtor, I
belong to Greater South Information Network
New Orleans Metropolitan Association Realtors.
I market and sell millions of dollars of Historic
New Orleans French quarter properties. I am
also a property manager. I sell houses in what
has been call "The Most Haunted City in
America " "New Orleans, Louisiana."
This wonderful city does have many historic
districts other then just French Quarter.
I do not mean to get so explicit or wordy in
this article. I just want you to know where
these "Ghost Photos" have come from,
and why I take them and have them.
I am not a Ghost Hunter or Ghost Investigator.
Nor do I wish to be. I just keep having this
happen in photographs that I take for my job.
I do not say I believe in ghost or claim that
these ghostly photos could be of "Real
Ghost."
I have had to go back and re-photograph a
few homes or properties many times over because
that particular home would not photograph
at all. The photos were always hazy or weird
elements in the pictures. I have used a different
camera each time to not have the same mistake
happen again. But it did over and over again,
and more then once and with at least 100 different
homes that I know I can personally account
for. You would not believe the level of frustration
this causes me for, I as I said do not believe
in ghost.
My fellow Realtors laugh and say. "Oh,
so you found another new haunted house."
And refused to even tour it. Needless to say
these homes do sell and I have never had a
single "Buyer" call me back and
say, "you sold me a haunted house."
Although I have had a few calls from people
asking if I have a "Haunted home for
sale."Yet so many of whom I show the
pictures to, certainly state that they are
"genuine Ghost Photos." I only want
to post them here for your readers to see
and judge for them selves what they might
think they could be.
I do believe these "Ghost Photos"
do show anomalies of some type. I consider
Ito be just that . A technical camera issue,
or film problems. Possibly I believe that
its just dust or lint on the lens. Quite often
I have noticed many anomalies in many unrelated
photos, from ghostly smoky figures to creeping
fogs and strange glowing orbs. I also have
a photo of what appears to be a person at
a door. And pictures of a bedroom I took which
appears to have people in it. I know the house
was vacant. I have read a lot about haunted
houses lately and haunted real-estate. And
I do not attempt in any way to debunk this,
or embrace it.
The 1000s of
photos were taken of houses through out the
Greater New Orleans area, Including Several
of The Historic Districts, Uptown Garden , The
French Quarter, Marigny And Bywater neighborhoods.
The Warehouse district area photos do have a
lot of anomalies.
I often go into other then (New Orleans) Orleans
Parish areas of the city. Metaire, Jefferson
Parish, and St. Tammany parishes older areas
do also show many anomalies. A photo or two
may be included here. I find many neighborhoods
in particular such as the Mid City Area, Bywater,
Esplanade Ridge, and The old French Quarter
to be where many more of the anomalies seem
to occur more often. These specific areas are
all Historic New Orleans districts.
These photos are since 1989 or earlier. I am
not even sure any longer where a particular
home or property may be located. I go into many
of these homes and photograph interiors and
exteriors included for MLS listings. As I write
this I just went through some Photos of a Bywater
home that has some truly strange things in the
photo. so it is to say they continue to occur
to the present.
So I ask all you Ghost hunters, Ghost Investigators
and enthusiast to shed some light on these
submissions. I am interested in your opinions
and would appreciate any feedback that you
out there might have to offer.
I will post
many more "Ghost Photos" soon to
your site so that your readers can carefully
scrutinize. My collection is extensive, I
will put together better documentation in
the future. Such as, when the photo was taken
and the time of day and year. I sometimes
notice that it occurs more frequently at certain
times or locations in the city. Some of the
homes are near Cemeteries, Or historical areas.
These seem to produce more results.
One area where
this always happens every time I go is The
Bywater Neighborhood. Here my cameras seem
to never work or go crazy. The Mississippi
river bends at this location and I think it
might just be static electricity. Power lines
and Radio waves abound in this neighborhood.
Well that's my explanation .If you have a
better one or want to try to convince me otherwise
please do. I think I'm ready to handle the
truth about ghost photos.
I keep getting more and more every week... stay
tuned!
